Bring photo ID to vote on May 4th!

If you're registered and are planning to vote in the local elections on Thursday 4th May, you need to bring voter ID.

What counts as valid photo ID?

  • Drivers Licence (Provisional or Full)
  • Passport issued by the UK, any of the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man, a British Overseas Territory, an EEA state or a Commonwealth country
  • National identity card issued by an EEA state

What am I voting for?

The 4th May elections are for selecting local ward councillors. For most students living on campus, this will be in the Hull Road ward. You can view the candidates for this election here.
